Judith Lee Page
GALLERY IV

While attending Berkshire Community College and Smith College, Judith Page also worked for a local plant nursery for several years, where she developed a passion for gardening, and flowers in particular. While studying at Smith she began to paint in watercolor, frequently painting the perennial gardens of Smith College as well as other local flower gardens and landscapes. She graduated with honors in painting from Smith College, going on to become active in the arts community of the Pioneer Valley region. Her work was shown in many regional galleries and can be found in corporate and private collections throughout the region.

After her move to Vermont in1993 Page took a break from painting to raise a family; she has now returned to an active career in both oil and watercolor medias. On her move to the Eagle Bridge, New York region she found herself in the midst of a thriving art community and met artist Evan Wilson with whom she has been painting for the last few years. An active member of the Southern Vermont Arts Center as well as The Arts Center of the Capital Region, this is her first solo exhibition here at the Arts Center.
