Lisa Laberge
September 26 – December 10
Lisa Laberge has been decorating homes in the Manchester and surrounding area for almost a decade and has a design studio located on Route 30 in Dorset. Lisa actively writes an advice blog called "Simple Pleasures" that can be found at LisaLabergeInteriors.com
Jocelyn Grayson, the Arts Center’s Exhibitions and Sales Coordinator, has selected the art while local designer, Lisa Laberge, of Lisa Laberge Interiors, has selected the furnishings, furniture and decorations. All art and design elements in the room will be for sale – prices are available in The Design Room – through December 10.
The inspiration behind the design of this particular interior is the original use of Gallery X as the Founders’ Gallery. The table is set for an imagined "Founders’ Luncheon” bringing together a few of the artists and patrons whose talent, dedication and foresight were instrumental in creating this special place ‘on the hill’.
YOU'RE INVITED TO AN ARTFUL TEA!
Saturday, November 21, 3 - 4 p.m.
A number of people have expressed a desire to meet with designer Lisa Laberge and SVAC’s Exhibitions and Sales Coordinator, Jocelyn Grayson, to discuss home and office redecoration options.
In an attempt to accommodate as many schedules as possible, Lisa and Jocelyn invite interested parties to join them for tea, in The Design Room, on November 21, from 3 - 4 p.m. They will be happy to share their design and art expertise and discuss ways in which you can redecorate and choose art for your home or office.
Please call the Arts Center at 802.362.1405, ext. 33, to make an appointment. Those unable to attend are encouraged to call with an alternate time; every effort will be made to satisfy all requests.
