Celestial Expressions–The Many Moods of Light with Robert Carsten
Dawn, sunset, twilight, moonlit nocturnes, and other celestial expressions are our muses for capturing the striking beauty of luminous light or a subtle, poetic look across a landscape. Using sketches or photos, we will work with both strong and subtle value contrasts, nuanced and brilliant color, composition, pastel application techniques and more. Demonstrations, at-easel assistance, critiques, and lots of pastel painting time. All levels welcome. Minimum 6/Maximum 18 students. Download a materials list HERE.
