“I learned printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design where I was an undergraduate. I am a painter and only started really experimenting with printmaking long after I left art school. I discovered that etching offers a chance to express a very different range of feelings than those I experience painting. Partly because of the scale, there is something more intimate and private about it”
