Award-winning artist Christopher Pierce first studied painting at the Hackley School in Tarrytown, New York, where he received the Sherman Prize for Excellence in Art upon graduation. He received his BA from Skidmore College and his MA from the College of Saint Rose; he studied with David A. Leffel and Terrence Coyle at the Art Students League of New York. Pierce has been elected to the prestigious National Arts Club – where he’ll mount a solo show in January, 2010 – and the Salmagundi Club in New York.
