Jack and Karen Winslow studied oil painting under Frank Mason at the Art Students League of New York from 1973-1978. In 1979, they set up their studio in Cambridge, Vermont, and for the past 30 years they have been painting, and selling their work at various galleries; all of their paintings emphasize an illusion of light, form, space and movement. In addition, Karen teaches painting from life to serious artists of all abilities here at the Arts Center, at other venues and privately in her studio.
