Carol Fortunato graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a degree in illustration and studied with David Leffel and Greg Kreutz at the Art Students League of New York. Today, freshly inspired by the smaller works of Chardin, she strives to create lush still lifes that celebrate the beauty, colors, and quiet rhythms found in nature. Fortunato divides her time between still life painting at her studio in Montclair, New Jersey, and landscape painting in New England. Her work has been exhibited in London and throughout the Northeastern United States.
