Dean and Dawne Polis met in the darkroom at college and have been photographing together ever since. After years of operating a wedding photography business and teaching art and photography at Burr and Burton Academy, they’ve shifted focus and are now running digital photography workshops in Europe. A student once asked if they had “magical eyes.” Thanks to a marriage of camera and computer, they create, if not magic, then perhaps an image that might magically touch the heart. This collection reflects the couple’s love affair with the city of Paris and seeks to capture its unique romantic ambiance.
