Bucky Pizzarelli with the John Pizzarelli Trio
Saturday, July 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Floor Side Reserved: $55
Premium Reserved: $65
Jazz guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli joins his guitar and vocal whiz-kid son, John Pizzarelli, and the John Pizzarelli Trio, for yet another "Back By Popular Demand!" performance. Pizzarelli family groups (John has likened the family to "The von Trapps on Martinis") of one incarnation or another have played the Arkell each summer for the past seven seasons and have sold out every time. This is the first time that Bucky and the trio – which features, aside from sons John and bass playerMartin, Ray Kennedy on piano – have appeared as a four-member combo. This concert is dedicated to Fred Richter on behalf of his family.

Barbara Riley presents
Duke Ellington Orchestra
Saturday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Floor Side Reserved: $45/Premium Reserved: $55
Duke Ellington created over two thousand pieces of music including the standards "Take the A-Train" and "It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)" as well as longer works like "Black, Brown, and Beige," "Liberian Suite," and "Afro-Eurasian Eclipse." Ellington introduced many innovations in the jazz field, such as the "jungle-style" use of the growl and plunger, and using the human voice as an instrument – singing notes without words. Under the direction of Barrie Lee Hall, Jr., the Duke Ellington Orchestra is a national treasure and continues to tour to enthusiastic audiences worldwide. This concert is sponsored in part by Barbara Riley.

Dave Brubeck Quartet
Friday, August 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Floor Side Reserved: $55
Premium Reserved: $65
From 1951 until 1967 (when the original quartet disbanded) the Dave Brubeck Quartet, anchored by Brubeck’s visionary composing and piano playing, pushed the genre of jazz into popular American culture. So much so, in fact, that 1959’s innovative album, Time Out, with the landmark singles "Take Five" and "Blue Rondo a la Turk," was the first million-selling jazz record in history. With drummer Randy Jones, Bobby Militello on sax, Michael Moore’s bass and Brubeck’s inimitable piano, this latter day quartet is every bit the jazz-force to be reckoned with.

Michael Feinstein
Saturday, August 9
at 7:30 p.m.
Premium Seats: $65
VIP Seats: Concert & Reception $125
Michael Feinstein, one of the premiere interpreters of American popular song, reprises his 2007 sold out Arkell performance with what will be, without question, another SRO "night to remember." Feinstein began playing piano by ear when he was five, played in piano lounges after high school and, after moving to Los Angeles, went to work for Ira Gershwin. With Gershwin’s influence, Mr. Feinstein has not only evolved into a captivating performer, composer and arranger but he’s also become an unparalleled interpreter of music legends such as Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Duke Ellington and Harry Warren.
