Classic Frank Sinatra Tribute at the Southern Vermont Arts Center on August 6 – Featuring "The Sands" Martini Bar
Manchester, VT – The Southern Vermont Arts Center is taking guests on a journey to a Las Vegas showroom of the past with its August 6th presentation, "Come Fly with Me." Though the performance takes place in SVAC's 400-seat venue, the Arkell Pavilion, audience members will feel transported to 1960's Las Vegas when Sinatra was lighting up the stage there. In keeping with an experiential atmosphere reminiscent of the historic Sands Hotel and its famous Copa Room, the Arts Center is offering a special cash martini bar complete with a signature cocktail to celebrate the evening's tribute to "Ol' Blue Eyes."

Museum Exhibition Season Opens at Southern Vermont Arts Center July 23
Manchester, VT – The Southern Vermont Arts Center opens its exhibition season in the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum on Saturday, July 23 with a champagne reception from 4:00 – 6:00PM. Works of five exceptional Vermont artists will be celebrated in this exhibition, which runs through October 16 – master printmaker Sabra Field, figure painter Elizabeth Torak, and contemporary sculptors Gary Haven Smith, Duncan Johnson, and John Kemp Lee.

Sabra Field - Vermont Artist, World Vision at Southern Vermont Arts Center
Manchester – The Southern Vermont Arts Center opens its eleventh season of the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum on Saturday, July 23, with an exciting exhibition of works from the Vermont artist of distinction, Sabra Field. The show, entitled Sabra Field – Vermont Artist, World Visioncontains over forty works from the nationally known printmaker.

Southern Vermont Arts Center Raffle for Sabra Field Print
Cloud Light is the ethereal title of the framed Sabra Field print The Southern Vermont Arts Center has on view in Yester House Galleries – and has raffle tickets available for some lucky ticket buyer to win. One of Vermont's most iconic artists, Sabra Field is one of the country's foremost printmakers. Her original woodcuts are translated to print in a fine art process known as giclee (zhee-clay), which digitally prints the image using archival inks.

Elizabeth Torak Works on View at the Southern Vermont Arts Center
Pawlet, Vermont artist Elizabeth Torak has worked for a year on the large-scale painting to be shown at the Southern Vermont Arts Center's Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum. The Feast of Venus I is the title of that central work of the exhibition, which is subtitled An Exploration of the Artist's Process.
