This winter, experience the landscape of Southern Vermont in an entirely new light.

Inspired by the beauty and drama of Vermont’s winter landscape, Night Canvas transforms the grounds of Southern Vermont Arts Center into an immersive outdoor installation of cinematic music and theatrical lighting. As dusk settles over the mountain, moving light and sound animate the landscape, creating a mesmerizing experience that changes from moment to moment.

There are three ways to experience Night Canvas: gather around the fire pit on Hunter Terrace with a cup of cocoa and s’mores as the lights unfold across the landscape; take in the spectacle from inside the For the Love of Vermont gallery, surrounded by works from the collection; or settle in for dinner at curATE, where the distant glow of the installation creates an enchanting new ambiance.

Night Canvas opens November 21 and continues Wednesdays through Sundays, 5–8 p.m., through January 10.
