About “Thriving Spaces: Street Art Meets Glass”:
“Thriving Spaces” creates synergy between two distinct mediums—street art and glass—through a shared theme of nature. Both forms interact with their environments in distinct ways. Glass shapes the light around it often playing with color, reflection, and translucence; street art interacts with surfaces that already exist transforming the spaces it inhabits. “Thriving Spaces” connects street artists from New York and artists from the Vermont Glass Guild to develop a shared display of original work. Cascading canvases echo sculptural glass forming an experiential exhibit that re-imagines the surrounding natural spaces.”
