Arkell Stage
Held in conjunction with Lineages: Artists Are Never Alone, this hands-on workshop with artist Suzette Marie Martin begins with a demonstration-style presentation about the basic anatomical structure of the human body and head and concludes with a drawing session with a live model for integrated practice of the information.
The information presented is based on both standard musculoskeletal structure and classical academic proportions with suggestions on how to adapt drawings for the natural variations among people, including age and gender. Attendees are encouraged to use visual note taking and sketching during the presentation. Students of all levels welcome!
*Due to exhibition funding, we are able to keep registration costs low. Don’t miss this opportunity!
