At Southern Vermont Arts Center, our instructors are both dedicated educators and active artists who bring depth and vision to the courses they teach. The variety of media they employ—painting, drawing, sculpture, even circus arts—reflects the richness of their perspectives and the breadth of creative exploration they foster in the classroom.

From Our Eyes turns the spotlight back on several of SVAC’s teaching artists, each of whom contributes to our 2025 schedule of adult and youth classes. For many artists, teaching is an act of joy and generosity. This exhibition offers a space for their artistic voices to take center stage—inviting us to see the world through their eyes, as both artists and educators.
