2019 Halloween on the Hill
We hope you will join us for our annual free community event, Halloween on the Hill.
WHEN: Saturday, October 26 | 11 am-2 pm
WHERE: Southern Vermont Arts Center
Free & open to all. Suggested donation $5.
The galleries in the historic Yester House will be decorated in spook-tacular fashion, ready to welcome young children and their families. The Arkell theater will be HAUNTED FOR THE FIRST TIME to scare a slightly older crowd.
- Magician Tom Joyce will be here for two shows (11:30am and 1:00pm)
- Art Scavenger Hunt, which guides children through the galleries looking for clues
- Plenty of games and Halloween arts and crafts
- Guess-the-Number-of-Candy-Corn with prizes
- Most Artful Halloween Costume Contest
- Trick or Treat SVAC’s first ever haunted theater
- Music by BBA’s student band
- Snacks, refreshments, goodie bags…and more
