Join SVAC Executive Director, Anne Corso in a conversation with collector, Lyman Orton and author, Anita Rafael about their collective book project. For the Love of Vermont: The Lyman Orton Collection tells the story of how Orton assembled his extensive collection of Vermont art over many years while running The Vermont Country Store. Anita Rafael is a writer living and working in an 1840s carriage barn she rehabbed in Wardsboro, VT. This lively discussion will give an insider’s view of the artists, the collection, and the entire For the Love of Vermont project. Following the program, attendees are invited to join the speakers at the opening reception of the exhibition in Yester House.
