The Southern Vermont Art Center presents the Vermont Pastel Society Juried Show. Pastel paintings will be selected by jurors and a judge will select winners in the following categories: Best in Show, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod Award and the Mallory Lake Memorial Prize.

The exhibit showcases the wide range of work from several of the 100+ society member artists. The Vermont Pastel Society was established by a group of artists in 1999 to build and strengthen connections among pastel painters, to foster their artistic development, and to provide links to resources. To help reach those goals, the VPS sponsors an annual juried exhibition for its member artists.
