We welcome glass artist Toots Zynsky as the keynote speaker for the 2021˚ F: 10th Anniversary Vermont Glass Guild Exhibition.

Toots Zynsky, an internationally renowned glass artist, is best known for her unique filet de verre (glass thread technique). She assisted in the founding and early development of Pilchuck Glass School (WA) and was a key participant in the development of the experimental glass workshop UrbanGlass (NY). She has received numerous awards including two National Endowment for the Arts grants and the 2015 Smithsonian Institute Visionary Award. She was selected for the Corning Museum of Glass’s prestigious Specialty Glass Residency program. Her work is represented in private and public collections worldwide. Please join us for a reception immediately following the lecture.
