Join artist Susan White for a week of textile fun. We’ll dabble with sewing, weaving, and string art, creating god’s eyes, friendship bracelets and more. Textiles are some of the world’s oldest and most culturally diverse art forms, though materials and techniques may be very similar. We’ll also take a look at how contemporary artists are playing with these materials today. Basic skills will be introduced, and students will have choices in making their own works. Each day will include time to play, inside and outside. Open to students entering grades 1 – 5. COVID-19 protocols in place.
