Lynne DeBeer is a fine arts graduate of Skidmore College and has been teaching painting, drawing and creative exploration, as well as working with artists to market their work, for over 30 years. She is currently a middle school arts educator and offers workshops for emerging and established artists in communities throughout New England. Her workshops include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textile design, film and animation. A focus of her teaching practice is using nature in art. Her current paintings and handmade books feature work with mixed media such as wax, found objects, paint and collage. Lynne’s career has included time as an arts center director, a fine arts consultant to corporate and private collections and work in graphic design.
