Join some of the participating artists for a closing reception this Saturday that will feature live audio and an original performance. Artists John DeVault and Joseph Fortune will share their work in “call and response” fashion. Part of Fortune’s work will feature sounds collected during the exhibition at the voice recording station. In addition, Brian C. O’Malley and Fortune have collaborated to produce a soundscape that will play throughout the reception.
Guests are encouraged to visit the Wilson Museum to soak in the sights and sounds of the exhibition and then bring that mindset to the performance as it becomes an extension of what is happening inside the museum.
