The woods at SVAC are full of wonders. In this camp, we will explore the fields and forests around SVAC for inspiration and the raw materials of art-making. We will make a naturalist’s notebook, learn to use a compass, identify plants and trees in our environment, make our own charcoal and botanical inks for drawing, create installation art in the forest and more! Campers should come dressed for exploration and days spent outdoors.
