From world renowned stories to words and phrases we use everyday, Shakespeare is everywhere. Join teaching artist and director Marisa Valent-Altland as we explore the effect Shakespeare has had on theater, storytelling, and our everyday lives! Students will learn all about the Bard and his plays, the acting styles from the Elizabethan era, and will learn one of his most famous comedies: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The one-week camp culminates in a kid-friendly performance of Midsummer for friends and family!
