Chalice Mitchell teaches the basics of oil painting in this online workshop using a combination of pre-recorded and interactive lessons. Focused on still life painting, she will cover laying out the palette, color mixing, blocking in shapes, and creating the illusion of form. This course includes a 45-60 minute demo video, 2 individual (or small group) consultations with Chalice as you work through your painting, and a final show & tell with all the other students over Zoom. Choose your own personal objects and improve your painting skills!

The demo will be available to participants beginning on April 18. Schedule follow-up Zoom meetings with Chalice at your mutual convenience. Closing class, for everyone, meets Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m EDT.
