Stained Glass in the Tiffany Tradition

Learn the basics of—or become reacquainted with–the magical process of stained glass. Students will learn how to cut glass, solder in the copper foil technique, and complete an 18” x 20” window hanging. Instructor will supply patterns and materials. Intermediate level projects will be offered for those with experience. Please note: Due to the use of lead, under no circumstances should someone participate in a stained glass workshop while pregnant or nursing.


Master glass artist and Philadelphia native Mark Kidd has designed and restored windows for homes, commercial, educational, and religious buildings throughout the United States and Canada. 

He has received numerous prestigious awards and commissions including designing a custom Christmas tree ornament for the White House Christmas Tree during President Clinton’s administration; designing and creating an  11′ x 10′ window for the Baptismal area at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia; and designing the Legacy of Love Foundation’s “Men  Making a Difference in the Community” Award in 2010. He also creates a unique gift line, often sold at high-end craft festivals and shows.
