This class will explore still life photography, including discussion of product photography. Students will have the experience of shooting both. We will discuss professional equipment as well as tips, techniques and tricks to help you create wonderful images from what you have to work with. There will be demos to help students see the topics discussed in a real-world context.

Thom Williams is a photographic artist currently living in Troy, NY. He has worked in fashion, editorials, portraits, architecture, athletic events and street photography. Whether a gesture, expression, or angle of architecture, Thom is inspired by capturing images not otherwise seen–of ordinary moments that can have profound reflective meaning for the viewer.
