Design and build your own one-of-a-kind paper lantern. Using simple materials – natural willow and reed, wet-strength tissue paper and glue – we will build a three-dimensional framework, clad it in translucent paper, and illuminate our creations. This project is suitable for individual makers and also works great as a team project. Ages 8 – adult. $10 materials fee additional.

Andrea Myklebust and her husband Stanton Sears have completed more than sixty sculptural projects at sites across the United States since they began working together in 1993, and they recently relocated their studio from rural Wisconsin to Southern Vermont. They create art which connects people to places.
