What colors can YOU mix from the three primaries? Ever make rain paintings? Children in this art adventure will become adept at a wide range of painting techniques as well as learn about color, shapes, and a little art history. They will learn all this while taking part in playful experiences such as pulling strings of paint, pressing sponges, making murals, and using pipettes to fill a puddle with color. The last class will use scrap paintings for a collage! Dress for mess as these painters will be up to their elbows in fun.(Please note that this camp will meet on Thursday, July 4.)

Instructor Bio:
Gabi Moore holds a master’s degree in painting. She taught figure drawing and painting at Fordham University for eleven years. She later led grant-funded art projects with area public school groups as a teaching artist, including River in Motion, an outdoor sculpture that turned with the wind, and a large mural honoring veterans in the Hudson Falls American Legion. Ms. Moore currently teaches art at Saratoga Independent School where her work with very young artists has taught her to play again. Her love of making art and sharing its adventures continues to evolve.
